In hindsight... no disrespect by the wayThis is my train of thought also.
I love Kendrick as a lyricist an artist and I do think he’s better than drake but when it comes to diss tracks I don’t see Kendrick coming out on top
with drake you have to push the pedo angle
that whole story of him texting the white girl from stranger things had white people mad
white people are his biggest audience. they don't give a fukk about blackface or writing your own bars lol
All Drake had to do is man up and respond to Control in the spirit of competition and we wouldn't get this far. All them nikkahs Kendrick mentioned on Control took it like men and understood the assignment. Some took it as a acknowledgement, some responded on wax, Pusha T did a record.
Drake instead gets in his feelings like a bytch
While I agree that this is an issue for Kendrick (and Cole)...Drake got washed in his last battle. I definitely think Drake could beat Kendrick, ESPECIALLY 2023 era Kendrick, but I don't think it'll have anything to do with Kendrick being 0-0 and Drake being 1-1 in battles. It'll be because Kendrick seems more insulated and out of touch than ever and is now vulnerable to be clowned.
Nap being bushed for almost the entirety of the beef was a huge L for OVOColiNap had over 50 posts in this thread...he should of been unbanned just to spam the pop out thread.
This! Had Drake not got in his feelings about it all that time ago there'd be no issue. From the competitive spirit of hip hop you can respect Kendrick naming names on wax from a respect standpoint, Drake would rather throw subs. The fact that nobody else had a problem with that back then except for him spoke volumes even back then. All Drake had to do is man up and respond to Control in the spirit of competition and we wouldn't get this far. All them nikkahs Kendrick mentioned on Control took it like men and understood the assignment. Some took it as a acknowledgement, some responded on wax, Pusha T did a record.
