interesting question..id give the edge to shamrock..simply because shamrock was the bigger wrestler and could stretch you with holds as well as punish you with his hands and fists...meanwhile kurt while obviously a great wrestler was not known for his hand game plus he nearly got his arm legit snapped on national TV with a kimura against puder..that wasn't a good look

In terms of insanity though? I'm easily, EASILY giving this to Kurt.

Check these articles written in 2004 and 2005:

APSE | Associated Press Sports Editors

EDITORIAL: KILLING YOURSELF TO LIVE - The Pro-Wrestling Chronicle

By the time he actually got around to being ECW Kurt, all of that had been exaggerated. Shamrock was playing a character, Angle was being thrown out there as his pill-addicted, atrophied, nearly-crippled, and insane self.

I mean, even for pro wrestlers Kurt is out of his mind. All of that is why these people who keep saying that they want to see Kurt back in the WWE worry me. Kurt will literally drop dead in the ring if he has to work a WWE schedule. Was it fun to watch him basically shoot on guys? Yeah, in theory. But considering what he was at that point and afterward, do you really want to keep watching that?

Dude was ankle locking dudes with a bloody mouth and that crazed look in his eyes, and IRL Shamrock was stabbed multiple times as a child, abandoned by his parents had to sleep in the streets, imagine all that anger boiling up and exploding in a MMA ring, yeah you'd be :whoa: to be in a ring with him
