OKC does their rebuild like a MYGM/MYLeague player :russ:. Constantly flipping players until they have a ridiculous amount of picks.

If I was in a small market, I would do the same thing.

I like the deal for Boston. You know Horford can play with JB and JT. You get a developmental big to go along with TimeLord.

OKC getting all those picks is nice but also speaking from experience, if they can’t consolidate them then some of them will just get wasted

But something tells me Presti will handle it better than Ainge :francis:

Yeah, at the very least, Presti seems to have done better at identifying talent in the last couple of years even though they didn't have a high pick (see: Dort, Bazley, Poku, Moses Brown, Theo Maledon). They have 18 1sts and 36 total, if they can't identify a star with ONE of these picks, then they've failed.

Not even the identifying stars part which is obviously important, but also there were years where the Celtics had more draft picks than open roster spots.

Ideally? Lonzo. More realistically? Somebody like Rubio. They need a playmaking PG.

It seems like Presti and OKC's plan is to take on bad contracts in exchange for first round picks and then flipping the year in exchange for another bad contract and first round picks. Not a bad play if you're a rebuilding team with cap space to spare.
Cavs been doing this breh. How you think they got the picks that turned into Kyrie and Sexton

Cs really trading their PG every other season lmao
I'm pretty sure this murders them as a major free agent destination going forward. It's been one and a half seasons since he signed there and he's already out. This is already after they snubbed Isiah and the whole Kyree situation
