Nas is the GOAT, but i believe her but only to a degree. I do think she is embellishing. Bringing up the Rhianna incident creates an image that i dont think fits her story.
saying she had bruises on her body is different from having bruises on her face, you can get bruises on your body from anything. Ive had chicks attack me and i would grab their arms to stop them and they got bruises on their arms. Sometimes the only way to stop a chick is to hold her still and if she wildin she can end up bruised. It seems like she is using an incident where she says she had bruises to paint him as an abuser but thats not necessarily the case.
Also she says she isnt afraid to throw a punch, which is basically admitting she would punch him. Meanwhile she doesnt say he punched her. She does says he "hit" her , but he could have slapped her legs and she could still say the same thing but the image she is painting comes across a certain way.
And saying he would drink alot and wont rememeber is a convenient way to get away with saying anything because "hey, he doesnt remember", so of course he cant defend himself. and she tries to say she is a private person and that he loves the accolades when he is notoriously prives aswell just goes further to suggest she is skewing her story
So yeah i dont think she is making it up entirely, they probably had a volatile relationship and it probably got a little rough at times but the image she is painting of him being a drunk violent abuser seems to be a bit of a slant. She never says he beat her or her hit her face or he hurt her or that she was scared of him but she leaves all that open for speculation. By keeping it vague she lets peoples imagination run with it.

That's makes more sense to u than bringing up shyt in court and solidifying custody and more money from the beginning? Yet it was basically proven she was exposing his assets left n right to get more money out of him? It sounds more like u want to believe her than actually going by what's been logically presented in front of ur face.
The thing that really bugs me about this is the fact that most folks will look at Nas like the enemy, in reality this is some sad state of affairs that most dudes go through on the regular basis (who have failed relationships with scorn women). Despite the fact that Kelis came out of NOWHERE to discuss the abuse and etc during the time Nas stated that he's going to drop in June speaks wild volumes. Nevermind the fact that she forbid him from seeing his child's birth and other horrendous shyt that she did during their messy relationship. At the end of the day Nas will be looked at as a fallen hero, while Kelis will keep it floating due to folks being wild gullible, instead of reading between the lines.
