Khan Alexander Guerrero would get it plus many more from the list above and more brehs. However one time could do a number if he's matched well. Porter/Thurman would have been good but Porter lost. Thurman needs to fight a live opponent ASAP

Brooks? Thought we were talking about mayweather?
That post was directed at Skip..

Okay...Thurmans record at WW is better than Ghost, Ortiz, and Chino when they fought Floyd for his title..

I just dont get how nikkas acting like Thurman aint the #1 contender at WW right now behind Pac/Brooks/May

All 3 of those dudes had a belt and were coming of victories over a title holder (I know Berto is nothing special) Thurman needs a victory over a known name, it doesn't even have to be a world beater

Exactly.

He has beaten anyone with a name yet. It's been about time for him to step up. You dont go from Carlos Quintana, Jan Zaveck, Jesus Soto-Karass, Diego Chaves, and Julio Diaz to Floyd Mayweather:mjlol:

What part of the game is that?:dahell:

What you mean what part is it?? Its how boxing should be... After this waste of a fight between Floyd and Chino part 2.. only people Floyd should be considering as an opponent at WW is Brook or Pac ( the other two WW title holders) Or Khan or Thurman his two number 1 contenders..

No, he shouldnt be fighting Thurman OR Khan. Neither of them have earned a shot at 147 to fight Floyd.

If ANYTHING, he should be fighting Demetrius Andrade if we gonna talk about young fighters being that Andrade is actually a belt holder like Kell Brook and Pac. And I dont think Brook has earned a shot at Floyd, but if we gonna use belt holders, Carlos Molina at 154 deserves a shot more than Thurman as well as Erislandy Lara over Thurman.

So, for clarification, Erislandy Lara/Demetrius Andrade/Carlos Molina/Manny Pacquiao/Kell Brook are ALL more deserving than Thurman....all of them have beaten a Top 15 fighter in their division as well while Thurman hasnt:mjpls:

Tell Thurman or Khan to get in the ring with a legit Top 10 opponent and THEN they can enter the "sweepstakes".

Guerrero is willing to fight them, Devon Alexander is willing to fight them, Shawn Porter is willing to fight them. That's 3 Top 10 fighters at 147 readily and available by the time Khan and Thurman will be able to fight....get it done and quit begging for a Floyd fight from the sidelines

First off... Lets slow down.. I was specifically talking about 147.. also I was specifically talking about who deserves to fight Brook for his title.. then somehow it switched to Floyd

Secondly.. I dont know about Khan, but in his last 3 fights, Thurman has already TKO'd two (at the time) top 10 WWs.. Diago Chavez and Sotto Karass...

As for those other nikkas you named at 147.. you got it backwards.. Aside from Pac and Brook All them nikkas at 147 you named need to go through Thurman to get a fight with Floyd

Oh, okay. Well, I believe Thurman and Brook are on similar levels so they should fight.

I checked and saw Diego Chaves was ranked #1 by the WBA and Jesus Soto-Karass was ranked #6 by the WBA....props on busting that myth breh:salute:

Im not saying they deserve to fight Floyd either. What I was saying that Thurman needs to beat 1 of the 3 to solidify his resume in order to gain a fight with Floyd.

Forreal, Porter ALREADY beat 2 Top 10 RING 147lbers, his resume is better than Thurman's.

Alexander already beat a top 10 RING 147lber as well, his resume is better than Thurman's.

And Guerrero has already beat a Top 10 RING 147lber as well, his resume is also better than Thurman's.

All 3 of them have also beaten either a current or former Champion at 147, Thurman has not. He has not earned a shot at Floyd outside of the fact he's the mandatory.

Guerrero's resume is better than Thurman? AT 147?? Please explain that one..

Devon's best win at 147 is Randall Bailey... who else he beat worth mentioning. You could say maidana, but Maidana wasnt ranked at all at 147 when he got his ass whooped by Devon..

i feel you on Porter but he coming off an L to Brook so he gets knocked down a few notches behind Thurman imo..

Selcuk Aydin was ranked #10 by RING magazine when Guerrero fought him, Berto was the former WBC Champion and ranked within the top 5 by the WBC. Thurman hasnt fought any fighters like that.

Doesnt matter, Marcos Maidana is still a legit victory and is better than anyone Thurman has ever gotten in the ring with due to Thurman not fighting anyone with a name. Bailey was ranked #5 by the IBF, and of course Jesus Soto-Karass:mjpls:

I cant knock someone below Thurman who has fought better fighters. Beating Alexander and Malignaggi, 2 former Champions at 147 is enough to keep him ahead of Thurman who has never faced a former Champion at 147 imo
