So because the Wizards have only won 3 playoff series since 1979 they the slept on underdogs in a series against a team that's been under heavily scrutiny for a while now?

Pretty comparable numbers between both of them. Remember, Indiana went after Nene back right after the lockout in December 2011. Right after Denver gave Nene his $65 million deal to keep him IND then signed David West right after that.
West got the better of Nene in their previous meeting in the playoffs in 2009
