kevin hart produced his own specials, got them into theaters, promoted them himself, and made them hits. That's when hollywood came calling. Katt wasnt a hustler liek that

I swear I can't stand how some people make it seem like Kevin was hand picked by corporate executives to be a star and given his success. That dude grinded hard for years to be in the position he's in. He built his own fan base to the point to where Hollywood had to take him seriously. Most other comedians don't have the drive or ambition to get where he is today.

No. Katt is a trillion times funnier but he just a different breed overall. He is very outspoken about his belief structure. Kevin Hart seems to go with the flow and is a "safe" option when white execs want to hire a black actor.

Kev work ethic is unbeatable and being clean cut hes more relatable to the audience

Neither of these dudes are/were funny to me. IDK maybe it's because I'm use to that Dave Chapelle drop dead funny type stand-up, but both Hart and Williams give me the :beli: face when I listen to them.

I think Dame Dash said on his radio show, when asked about what he saw in kevin Hart to want to put him a movie. "He's white people funny". He said something else either about buisness or knowing how to sell movies but, I can't remember it exactly.

But too me this is it. Kevin has more or comedic style that lends itself to a white audience, and like others have said his image is more clean cut.

I can't front Kevin Hart never been funny to me and Kat shyts on him:yeshrug:

But you can't take away his work ethic :manny:

Yeah, seriously. Kevin Hart has been around for a LONG time. Early '00s. It wasn't until 2010 that he really started to blow up.

Katt Williams first 2 stand up specials were funny as shyt. Way better than Kevin Hart's. But naw, he wouldn't be where Kev is cuz he doesn't have broad enough appeal. Every other word in his set was "nikka", shyt was almost uncomfortable...
