Very 2023 story, a lot of the evidence is going to be his own statements. The podcasts, the videos, he did this to himself. Also, moving to Vegas, put him in right in their sights. They will get a conviction or plea. They used a grand jury to secure the indictment. So no preliminary hearing.

I am sure in LA gang circles/industry adjacent it was mentioned, but the general public didn't really know of him. This was before all the social media, pics, it was a closer circle back then, Keefe was actually an OG shot caller, high level cocaine trafficker. He was a ghost and a legend to the people outside of Compton/Watts.
