I've read just about everything about this saga, and it continues to fascinate and inspire me, in a sense I wish someone would make a movie or series, or book that truly tells this story the way it should be. I believe a lot of this is true, it all fits with everything, but gangsters are always prone to self aggrandizement, and I have read many of their tell alls and confessions, they always contained some exaggerations. But, I will say this is one of the less obnoxious ones I have read, while it isn't incredibly well written, he doesn't veer too far into boasting and bragging nonsense.
He was a real official one, and the game got to him. Most guys that snitch go into self righteous tirades, and while he did a little of that, he mostly said "I let myself down, and wish I had been stronger". That's how that shyt goes. I would think there are some hyperbolic statements, regarding some of the events, but for the most part, it's probably all mostly true. What a time in the game, the mid 90's peak of gangster rap and street wars, Hollywood, all merged together in an operatic tale.
