I disagree. Only thing Russ is worse at is he can't shoot even half as good.
Also, we had multiple injuries, not just KD that year. Team is way different now, just needs another great scorer.

West will have an MVP at the end of this season. He was in the league longer than Westbrook so yes he was the best player until last year. Btw that finals everybody on the team was young af. All of them are in their primes now on separate teams.
Russ carried the Thunder with basically no help unless Adams decided to play good to a 4-0 start.

KD can't even carry a team with 4 fukking all stars to beat the Lakers.

KD isn't a leader. He has a crazy jumpshot. And he's tall.

Russ is doing alot more with what he has to work with. So I'd say yes he's better to build a team around. Especially if he can make these young ones look good enough that people actually think the Thunder are something great when clearly it's just Russ.
All Russ needs is 1 other all star who can create his own shot and they are easily top 3 seeds in the west. Give him Anthony Davis, hell give Russ Rudy Gay and he can do more with that team than Kd will do with a unanimous mvp and Draymond.

No ones crying about super teams tho. Had he joined the spurs they would have been a superteam no one would have cared. Guess it rubs people the wrong way when you join the squad that embarrassed you and put you on the wrong end of history. Especially when you had a very capable squad you could have lead.
