This. He's not like Bron even tho he's trying to move like him. When Bron was getting all that hate for leaving for Miami and when they lost in the finals in 2011 remember he had made that remark about "At the end of the day, people that hate on me gotta go back to their regular lives and jobs they hate, while I go home rich to a mansion"Which was basically Bron saying he don't give af. KD not built like that, which is why he feels the need to reinforce his decision and defend himself.
That's why I expect him to go back to OKC eventually. He ain't built to be the villain, he wanna be loved..

He won't go back to the Thunder, the people around him wouldn't let him. To be honest the people around him probably did more to push him out of OKC then any bullshyt reason he comes out with. Nike wanted him to go slow down the Steph hype & UA (which is hilarious since he just randomly shyt on UA), his agency wanted him in a bigger market, & his brother doesn't like Russy
From how he sounds, I don't think he'd risk leaving GS and losing another heartbreaking series to Steph. I don't know if he could take it.
