Well he's charging $20 a month for his network like service too. I wanted to support but I cant justify that when Netflix, WWE, and even Highspots all charge $10 :yeshrug:
wow 20? really? thats astronomical.. but i guess he knows people will just copy every video he got n cancel. hes not in a easy position.

all i can say with certainty is his timeline, guest booker and supercard series >>>> any podcast on the subjects

That's MLW and I was subscribed for a while but canceled it because 90% of the premium content is geared towards todays watchers, it's a great damn value if you're a fan of todays wrestling and if you've never checked for it at 1.99...yes 1.99 a month. They have a ton of old shoots on there but have new shyt posted daily also.
I would only sub for that Kevin Sullivan show where he goes through all the old territory stuff. Dude is an encyclopedia on wrestling pre 2000. For 1.99 i might...

I said this to somebody the other day, the podcasts now are killing the shoots, they are giving away so much info that the shoots will sell less. I prefer to get it for free of course so I'm not complaining about that, but you can often get somebody's full story on a podcast now for free rather than a shoot. I still wanna watch a bunch of them though, they should make a cheap streaming service for when you want to watch a specific video, like $1 each vid or some ish, to watch or download, might be less but people may watch a lot more, worth trying to find new avenues now to combat it before it dries up even further.

He's being the same stubborn ass that so many have been in the past, as technology marches on.

That said, he's a great interviewer for sure, and a lot of his shoots are really solid.

Podcasts really did stomp on things. Not just from the standpoint of me not wanting to buy shoot interviews, but also me just not wanting to listen to them in general. I used to want to listen to all of them, as they were a bit more of a rare commodity. Now every wrestler has been on every podcast 20x and I've heard all the same stories a dozen times. The actual material has become over saturated.

Bruce Prichard's was a nice change of pace. Hopefully Sean figures something out, but I'm honestly doubtful.

I'm surprised wrestlers don't get paid for podcast appearances.

Podcast appearances for the wrestlers are promotional tools. For the most part you get interviews with the talent the same way that you get interviews with film or TV stars. They're promoting their next big event or book, or some business partnership they're launching. They get free publicity from the podcast host, the host gets materials for which he will get sponsor add money. It's the same as an appearance on Good Morning America or The Tonight Show.

Podcasts are killing sports radio too. Get ready for the inevitable podcast subscription services.:francis:
That's actually fukking great.

Choose whether you listen to respected commentators, former professionals, "entertaining characters," the statisticians, emotional angle pushers, or whoever just happened to catch your ear.

Instead of being stuck with limited options, you now have much more. Tired of hearing about someone the media zoned in on? Local's a hack, or always saying stupid bullshyt to get even more stupid callers? Want to get right to a topic, instead of listening to even more bullshyt on the way?

Now you can.

I'm also dying laughing at the guy who makes his own living off of wrestlers being honest...getting enraged that we live in a more open society.

"Look everyone, this is ridiculous! Can we please go back to me having a relative monopoly on this commodity, please?"

:dead:
