Kawhi and his camp played their hand horribly. Why would any team bother to bring him in on a one year deal if it's obvious that he isn't going to play this season at all? He had no leverage at all, yet they seemed to have believed that he did :mjlol:

He might as well do the 1+1 with the Clippers and try again next season.

Maybe that’s what’s happening. Space is gone so he has no leverage and maybe the Clippers are playing hardball with his goofy ass
All things considered, PG held the fort down pretty well.

I wonder if they're thinking is Kawhi REALLY worth all of this. I he re-signs, cool, but we not gonna break the bank for you

Breh and his uncle wanted to be wined and dined again but teams said fukk that we ain’t wasting our time :mjlol:

Dude legit wanted to meet with other teams and hear pitches knowing damn well we wasn’t gonna leave the Clippers. Those other teams saw how he tried to fukk over the Lakers the first time and said they wasn’t gonna let it happen to them.

Unfortunately, they have no other choice as not bringing him back benefits OKC and the picks/swaps that they owe them. So it's not they'd have the assets or cap space to replace him if he walks.

Do you have a source for this claim?
