I don't think a milllionaire cares abut being called soft.

Kawhi is the type of guy who just breaks off. When he's not fukking with you he's not even dealing with you.

If I'm the spurs GM here are the deals I'm taking

Lakers:Ball, Kuzma,Ingram and a future 1st rounder 1-15 protection

:mindblown: under no circumstances the lakers will ever give up that much for KL. Lakers can wait for next year when he's a free agent. did people forget KL is coming off a major injury that he missed practically all season? spurs have no leverage to ask for that. if a trade does go down you best believe the spurs will get fleeced..it doesnt matter to what team since KL is also telling teams he will not resign with them. they will get low ball offers and thats it. :win:

The main point behind trading for Kawhi is so that Lebron signs with LA.

So yeah, you could risk waiting.
And in that waiting you’ll essentially be telling Lebron to go play elsewhere.

Lebron announcing he's opting out early as he could shows you different. spurs lost that leverage. If that was the case, Lakers wouldve given up the farm to the spurs already before Lebron's opt out announcement. Lakers kept giving the spurs low ball offers, that shows you something is up.

Lebron coming to LA doesnt hinge on Kawhi being traded here this season..its just a plus.

Lebron opting out is about putting pressure on the Lakers to get the Kawhi trade done.

If he didn’t opt out, the implication would be that he’s open to staying in Cleveland and therefore there wouldn’t be any urgency to move assets for Kawhi.

Him opting out actually took the pressure off the lakers. the reports coming before that was the pressure was on the lakers to make a trade to get Kawhi BEFORE lebron makes his opt in or out decision, that day came and went and the lakers still wasnt offering what the spurs wanted. spurs was using that date as a leverage on LA to make a deal and LA didnt budge.

Lebron opting out took the possibility of houston or any sign in trade. which really leaves cleveland, la and maybe philly in the running. how does that not work out for the lakers? Woj and Fathorst already reported the lakers have the inside track on Lebron.

Let's get this shyt over with already.
Spurs Privately Acknowledge Relationship With Kawhi Leonard Cannot Be Repaired:
"I was told yesterday in pretty strong terms they're ready to move on," said Marc Stein on The Dan Patrick Show. "They know this relationship cannot be repaired. This is beyond Pop and Kawhi meeting face to face and fixing it as Pop was able to do with LaMarcus Aldridge last summer. It is pretty much gone at this point."

Take him off your avi then, you passive agressive bytch. :pachaha:
I've got like 100 posts in this thread, many explaining my particular issues with how this is going down...and that it's not a personal beef toward the man. I'm a big fan of Kawhi as a player. That won't change if he's in a Lakers uniform.

Also, until the trade is official, Kawhi will remain in the avatar.

Would you like to see some of them?

im sure they would but the problem is the lakers never offered that deal.

I keep seeing that getting tossed around so assumed it was on the table. Lakers need to do it. Kawhi, bron and maybe PG + veterans/ring chasers can compete with any team.
