Sources: Pressure on Lakers to acquire Leonard

Leonard has been adamant that he doesn't want to step into the San Antonio locker room again, and the Spurs have been adamant that they won't be forced into a trade, or a timetable, prior to the February trading deadline, league sources said. No team talking with the Spurs about Leonard has found them to be in a rush to make a deal.
This sounds like a man who really did quit on his team.

Doesn’t want to step into the locker room? Are you afraid to look those men in the face?

I hope this story isn’t true.

It's becoming clear to me now that they're trying to get LeBron, Kawhi, and PG13 to LA. And for what its worth I hope it happens.

I just wonder if either Kawhi or PG have the personality to stand toe-to-toe with LeBron, because LeBron needs another legit alpha type to lean on, not just skilled stars.

D wade off the bench lol

They can get decent young players but why facilitate LeBron to LA :mjlit:

I think the Spurs will be comfortable dragging this out.

Smh...the league needs to step in and force the spurs to make this trade for "basketball reasons"...them not making moves that are in their best interests because of pettiness is hurtful to the league

Bron would just sign a one yr deal and sign next year

That's fine but if you're the Spurs, a year to delay a conference rival from forming a super team is a good thing.

RC and Pop have a lot of power right now.
