Breh, can we be realistic here? The spotlight is on him this week for obvious reasons. It will die down as soon as the decision is made.

What if that’s the difference? What if he’s worried that now the threat of leaving is gone his brand won’t blow nearly as much?

Should stay? To play with old ass Lowry, Gasol, and Ibaka? Good for the Raptors and all, but they won strictly because KD and Klay went down. They got lucky. Kawhi should leave. No better time to. :yeshrug:

Absolutely 1000% true. But you can only play who's in front of you. Toronto will give Kawhi everything he wants. Load management, endorsements, etc. But in truth, we're seeing that's not enough.

That just means that, at worst, they were the 2nd best team in the NBA last year... and only an all time team on paper could claim they were better if healthy (even tho they were healthy for 10 playoff games and went 6 and 4). Which is moot going into next season because they just lost their best player to Brooklyn.

In any case, Toronto wasn't lucky in winning the East and if Kawhi comes back, I'd favor them over Philly, Bucks, Pacers, and Celtics. I get going to the Lakers but i also get doing a 1 + 1 with the Raps.
