I’ll take it as semi-true. He’s been Kawhi’s unofficial spokesman all season. I’d be willing to bet he’s the one to break the news if they decide to go the media route.

Edit: when I think about it that makes sense. He didn’t announce on Canada Day so maybe he won’t do the same on America’s national holiday out of respect to the Canadians so as not to make it seem like some nationalistic type decision. Or maybe I’m thinkin too deep on it. :ld:

he isnt announcing he is going back to Canada on Independence Day because he doesnt want cacs to talk shyt. Not announcing today means he isnt coming to LA.

They’d talk shyt either way, Canada is also a majority cac country.

If he announced today it would seem like some fukk Canada go USA type shyt or some fukk America go Canada type shyt. Tomorrow or the day after has more neutrality to it for all teams. But even tomorrow is tricky cuz it’s Uncle Dennis’ bday so I don’t know if they gon hold it off another day because of it.
