Really like how Kawhi moves. While everyone was yapping he stayed put and nothing leaked. All kinds of scenarios being built off of "sources" while breh was plotting behind the scenes. Wanted out of SA, got to Toronto, won a title and became their best player ever in just one season. Job done, on to the next one. Most coveted FA since Bron and didn't make noise.

Breh is like the most anti-star we have now and who knows he could end up winning a title and FMVP with 3 different teams

Clips set themselves up really nice. Built their young core while keeping flexibility, showed that toughness in the playoffs, all of which probably played a huge part in Kawhi's decision. That's why I keep stressing it's important to develop young players and a winning culture.

This is a horrible argument. Are you really just trying to claim that there were not hella free agents and players of all types, shapes and sizes that the Lakers could have used to put together a perfect team had they not been waiting thinking they were getting Kawhi?
