Woj said Toronto turned down Siakam for Westbrook and George.

If that kept Kawhi in Toronto why the hell wouldn’t you do it?

I like Siakam but you’re not contending with him as your best player. Trading him if it keeps you a contender for at least a few more years is more then worth it
All lies, That trade doesn't even make sense.

That story is being reported right

The full article said Raps didn’t have the assets to match the Clips offer

Well I'm not going to give you what you want and agree to that straw man bullshyt because that's not what I said. You raved about George's defense and I just asked you where it was during the Portland series where they destroyed by 2 smaller guards. You'd think if George is such a great defender as people like you say, he would've been effective in making it harder on dame and cj.
Good for you but I never asked you to agree in the 1st place. So you're asking me why he couldn't shut down the 2nd or 3rd best backcourt in the league? Well i guess bc hes not a good defensive player:skip:...

Hiw many of em looked they was going double dutch?

Be honest, where did you see Kawhi fitting into their bromance?
I didn’t. Which is why I’m not surprised at all he’d go elsewhere. May have grown up a Lakers fan but he’s not Hollywood and in love with himself on a public level like that.

Not Bron and AD’s fault that the cameras follow them.

I don’t think the Westbrook/George for Siakam trade could work because Siakam isn’t really making money so the contracts don’t match up :patrice: The only ones making big money for the Raps are Lowry, Ibaka, and Gasol and Gasol just opted in so I don’t know if he’s even allowed to be added to the trade yet? And are Lowry and Ibaka’s contracts enough to match the ones OKC would send? And would OKC even want them in return (They are expiring so maybe?).

Or maybe even Masai is on that Westbrook will screw this up train :picard:

Siakam is still on his rookie deal. A deal would of had to involve Lowry, Norm, Ibaka too.

I dont think the media is reporting the trade accurately.

I bet siakam's agent is the source.
