I was watching a YouTube clip of Katt at his NYC show and he said this..why does he keep coming at these black comedians? Kevin hart and now Chris..can folks just get along. Last year, it was Aries Spears and Mike Epps talking down on Kev..


And Isn't Tony Rock a good 10 yrs younger than Chris? Most people start their careers mid 20--30s, probably right? He already seemed to be making his way by then..And maybe he just wanted to do it on his own...Chris Rock has 9 siblings by the way lol

It's like these cats be in the business for so long and feel like they owed more than what they get out of their career,
When they see somebody who has more success than them they feel like he either sold out or didn't work as hard as they did and passed them up.

But it's also obvious that black comedians have a 15 minutes of fame thing going on. Once one comedian becomes that "it" guy for his time it takes away the oppurtunites for the other black comedians to shine.

I just wish they established enough clout amongst themselves to always keep shyt in-house. If you look at Judd Apatow, Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan(We know what they have in common )they literally only hire their friends in their movies. Meanwhile the black comedians steady going at each other.

Speaking of everybody hates chris, before 2005 (ie when everybody hates chris started) terry crews was pretty much on his way to be type casted. From longest yard, to training day, to friday, to malibus most wanted he was pretty much always cast as a thug/inmate who had the occasional funny moment.

Everybody hates chris was the first time he really broke away from that.
