I think there is a big difference in saying something on a podcast that only certain people listen to and saying something on a standup special that’s advertised on the front page of Netflix.

And that’s not to say I hate cancel culture. I don’t really care about it. I just thought you made a bad comparison.

I didn't watch his interview or his special but the impression I got from clips of the interview was that he was telling his truth. Nothing about it seemed like he was trying to be funny. Chapelle and Katt Williams have seemed to taken the stance of telling what they deem as the truth on the public stage and if people laugh it's an added bonus
