I don't understand this at all for Minnesota besides shedding salary. Their spacing is going to be horrific and Randle is going to be gunning for a new contract.

I love this for the Knicks. They did Donte dirty but they got rid of that bozo Randle and upgraded. They basically had no centers besides Mitch, who's always injured. Their spacing is going to be incredible and now they can put their best guys in the starting lineup.

Theres nothing to get its all about shedding salary...They need cap room to pay Naz Reid next summer and Randle is a FA after this year...
