Correct. I even know this and I’m no where at all near Detroit. Didn’t care for those For Everybody and Ice Me Out songs, but both of those songs had major traction back then and til this day are probably still her most notable songs. There’s women’s music that’s clearly not my demo, but I always think it’s funny when dudes totally trash any women rapper but will really go up for feminine male rappers.

Ive never heard these songs a day in my life, yet they have millions of views. Thats wild. Even when i play hip hop and rnb on apple music thise tracks have never came up. Ever. Females rappers come up all the time when you let apple music do it’s thing. Never heard her on the radio(im in nyc). Never heard her in any spot ive been chilling at. This chick is ass. I think she is a clear case of an artist being such a big local draw that she doesn't need to be worldwide, Michigan and Ohio women love her my ex used to play her shyt all the time.
