The whole thing just doesn’t add up because if they couldn’t find a proper charity to donate it to in all that time why did he keep doing more charity streams?

He tried to explain that by saying bigger money donations were more substantial than small money donations - which we all know is absolute nonsense because most donations to charities are small money donations.

Either he was siphoning off the interest it collected or he was trying to figure out a way to keep it all for himself. The money just sitting in an account is losing value to inflation. Ever worse it was over a decade so nobody buys the we couldn't find a good charity for it talk.

They didn't even itemize the random "administrative fees" over the years. But they did get him to admit he was dipping into Open Hands account to supplement costs of running IndieLand. But he was like, never more than a couple thousand dollars,

You would figure he’d do his due diligence on selecting proper charities before raising money though. At best, it feels like he’s using the charity streams as just a way to promote his channel and gain subscribers.

the industry people coming out and defending him is wild, there is clear evidence he and his brother scammed. Never seen so many people defend someone not being able to find a charity for TEN YEARS
