I bet those Karens loved “The Blind Side”
though.:sas2:

Or Money ball or any other sport film not predominately focused on the athletes. They can’t critique the film focusing on a black family accomplishment and in particular based on two black female athletes so they find something else to home in on.

Don't ever forget we weren't suppose to be over here with these folks. It's because of the depravity of humanity that we ended up in this situation. Europeans wiped out indigenous groups over here before they brought slaves from the homeland. Of course they are going to try to manipulate the situation and keep black folks seperated and fighting against each other. If you can go back home to where we're supposed to be then do that. It's not going to get better on this side of the world for black people. We have enough knowledge at this point to make it work.

They mad at this movie. Wait till they read the book and see the movie the ditch diggers daughters.

About a true story of a black man who was a determined to raise all 6 of his daughters to become doctors. Everyone of the daughters went on to became a doctor to fulfill his dream.

fukk them hating ass tramps on Twitter. Mr. Williams is loved by black folks who watched Serena and Venus grow up. That brotha believed in his girls and protected them and stood up for them from when they were kids to adults.

See them racist hoes and they black bootlickers ain't got no smoke for the racist in the tennis world and media who attacked serena and venus from when they were kids to adults. All the more reason Mr. William's should get his flowers. Cause dammit for years that man stood strong and take bullets for his daughters against them white racist.

This is why representation is important.

Cacs and c00ns are so used to seeing black men (black people in general) being presented in a certain light that when something challenges that belief they can't process it. And most of the times they cling onto stereotypes while having little to no interaction IRL. Plus, there's no white savior or comedy relief for them to relate to or make them feel comfortable.

The movie is literally called KING RICHARD. What I find funny is that social media and MSM glossed over the fact that Serena and Venus are executive producers of the film. This movie is a tribute to THEIR father. They are reliving their experiences and the lessons they've learned yet you have outsiders trying to dispute what the Williams Sisters experienced with their own dad. All because it goes against the lies/stereotypes they've been told and a strong black man raised 2 strong black women to be the best at what they did in an environment that was not kind to them. He wasn't perfect, but the movie doesn't even try to paint him as such. They would know if they actually watched the movie. Both parents and kids alike can learn a thing or 2.

Brehs (and brehettes) ought to take notes. You can do everything right, but someone can find anything to hate on if they look hard enough. If you're doing right by yourself and those around you then don't compromise what you believe in for those who will never understand your vision. It has nothing to do with you as an individual, but their own personal hangups. You don't own them shyt. Keep doing what you're doing.

:salute: to everyone involved in making this movie.

Amen
