Maybe it's due to my West Indian heritage but Kardinal's music speaks to me more than Drake's. Drake's got some good music though.

Same here. Drake's pretty much the only black Canadian rapper that doesn't have a Caribbean background.

Shieeet Black Canadians in general. My fam is from Trinidad, Barbados and Guyana. Majority of other black people I've met throughout Canada are either West Indian or African. I have met some Black Nova Scotians though. Their ancestors came to Canada from the States.
