Kanye does not seem to give a fukk about sales anymore, as long as everyone has the music, it gets 5/5s from major publications and Grammy awards he seems set.

i can dig it but presentation is a part of it. its 2013 i dont have to PAY for shyt actually but i do to support, its a nice concession to at least get a visual, a booklet with credits(i enjoy reading that shyt), something tangible. It may be simple but i fuking loooove the smell of a new album booklet! Nas last shyt, Lianne la havas album i didn't even rip the disc to my pc let alone play the actual cd but as a consumer i appreciated getting a little glimpse into the artist. I can dig tryna make a statement but honestly as a consumer whose spending bread, i'd rather have something tangible bruh.

I buy a cd for superior quality, supporting the artist, and artwork. Why should this album lure me in to buying it when I can I can make a blank Cd and put red electrical tape on the case and write yeezus with a black sharpie. It takes away an element of buying CDs. I feel like Ye dropped the ball with this idea. I've been a massive supporter of him, however this artwork I can't get jiggy with.

He utilizes the use of ghostwriters
He doesnt have the competitive spirit a hip hop artist would have
His sound and style is just too..(this may sound ignorant) artistic for hip hop
And ima just keep it funky..Kanye just dont seem hip hop in my simple ass hip hop perpective
