I always liked how 50 pretended he voluntarily left the music game and not that people stopped giving a shyt about his music after that battle :mjlol:

I think he was legit humbled when Before I self destruct flopped in real time :wow:
I was back around some of his team. El that nikka. 50s stance was he beat Kanye coz he sold more globally and only lost us sales. Not defending or what ever but that's how it is. Theres never been anything serious on a street level between 50 and ye. And wont be they just are two crazy nikkas.

I mean...he's not lying but 50 was already falling off after 2005.

The Massacre hurt his credibility as an artist since it was a drop in quality from GRODT.

Jada and Game hurt his credibility as a "career ender" since they had much better disses than him and Game continued to stay hot with Doctor's Advocate.

Bank's 2nd album leaked and the replacement album flopped. Buck's 2nd album also came and went. Nobody wanted another Yayo album.

50 tried to bait Camron into a battle and Camron out trolled him and made him fall back.

Once the sales battle with Ye happened, 50 was already washed. He was literally throwing singles around like darts and hoping for one to stick. None of them stuck except for the one with Timbo/JT(huge stimmy package in 2007) and I Get Money. And I Get Money was the only classic song on the album that the culture messed with.

In hindsight, 50 wasn't really meant for a long term career. He mainly saw rap as a hustle by his own admission and he had the deal of a lifetime signing to Eminem in late 2002 when he was damn near Beatles status at the height of his peak. And he dropped an album with the 9 shots marketing him as the "next Tupac" and Dre producing one of the best radio singles one could ask for.

The funny thing is: Nothing about how 50 moved after the sales battle suggested this was voluntary. He still dropped 2 more studio albums after it and kept promoting Street King Immortal.

Sure....he had the Vitamin deal making him move more like a mogul but 50 still clearly thought he was hot and relevant after the battle.

He tried to bait Wayne multiple times with interviews shytting on him and a diss track called "Play This On The Radio." Wayne cared so little about battling 50 that he basically rehashed a Jay-Z diss towards 50 on a lesser known mixtape in response to him and ignored his existence otherwise.

Then 50 clung to the Ross battle which was actually started by Ross but 50 saw it as an opportunity to get relevant again. He and Banks dissed Ross and exposed him as a CO. Then he had the "Pimpin Curly" series and the antics with Ross's baby mamas to bait him more.

End result: BISD barely outsold Deeper Than Rap despite the Ross beef, being featured on a number 1 song with Eminem/Dre, and having a whole movie named after the same album that he lost weight for. By 2010, Ross was damn near at his peak while 50 was ice cold. It was crazy to see in real time as someone who used to be a big 50 fan from Queens lol.

Was funny seeing Kiss so scared of Banks with green lantern stuff. Styles was still taking all comers. I see kiss as super legendary but he openly ducked banks. His man wasnt scared tho. Hood and them others were active. Jada really did not want to bar it up with banks. Its on tape before you unit haters claim.it wasnt.
