Kanye knew this album wasn't finished when he announced it. He made a whole roll out around a listening party at Mercedes Benz Stadium and moved in to finish an album. Drake be having dates at an empty Dodgers stadium and Kanye out here finishing an album at Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Kanye done let people listen to an incomplete album, charged them for it, then convinced them he can't release it cause he has to perfect it, then convinced them that he is living in the stadium.

If this is the album then it is bad, really bad
Every song just feels like an intro to another song which never arrives
And the productions on it is not great either which normally carries his previous albums in the past, and he has gone back to using auto tune quite alot in this one which for me ruins all song that uses them

The Atlanta songs appear to miss the songs/parts of the Las Vegas show. What we heard in Atlanta are just bits and pieces of songs. I agree about the autotune, it needs to be dialed back.

I can't really pretend that I understand exactly what he's doing but it does seem like Atlanta was just bits and pieces of songs highlighting features and hooks to gauge the crowd reaction. Las Vegas had what sounds to me like completely different songs and Kanye rapping a lot more.
You’re right. Most don’t need to rely on marketing gimmicks to fuel interest. In the last two months Mach and Tyler just dropped two remarkably good albums and neither carved out a redwood treehouse to live in leading up to the release that they broadcasted to the world to prove/validate their genius. The hyperbole in here is reaching fanatical levelsNo one else doing this shyt. Publicity stunt or not, who else would even think to move into a stadium to finish a stadium album?
