He also has writing credits on Yeezus. :sas2:

I know, but I think creatively Kanye as an artist was all over the place on that album in terms of writing (he had a lot of writers on there, probably the most writers he's ever had on an album)

and I liked that album a lot when it first came out and for a few years following it's released

I went back and listened to it again a few weeks ago and there's a few songs on there that I like but I like the sound of the album more so than some of the songs

I think Kanye had a really great idea with the Yeezus album but creatively was just all over the place

There's some flashes of really interesting production on Yeezus that I like

And I also I enjoyed Yeezus because it came out at a time (a time that's a lot like now) where everything sounds the same, so it was nice to hear something that didn't conform to exactly what everyone else in Hip Hop was doing at the time production wise

cause he's trying to mimic Hov's "I don't write" with his version of "I don't produce" by releasing shyt just as a first draft and hoping people eat it up.

Gone are the days of him actually perfecting anything.

Sound sound sound

lol that’s cap

Throughout the years , listening parties were basically a way for artists to play their music in a party/club like setting ..and all they did was drink and shake hands with each other while taking pics

none of the music ever changed…and most of the time, the other artists came out talking about how it was the craZiest album they ever heard…it’s just a promotional tool

It is cap because back in the day people were playing completed versions of these albums at the listening parties and the fukking discs were already being manufactured.

what label is gonna pay for your listening party and then you “gauge” the reactions and then change shyt based on that? As if they would stop production because the track with Keith Murray and Celine Dion was just too mid for the album.

fukk that.

Kanye is out here trying to ear bully people with basura and hope you’ll be wowed with the same remixed visual presentation he’s been doing since the Yeezy fashion show at Madison square garden.
