I hope this album is less stripped down and minimalist than the last couple.

People called Yeezus stripped down but it's only really minimalist compared to MBDTF or WTT. The arrangements still have a lot going on. Musically it's much more dense than his last couple.

My problem with the last couple of albums is they just sound like sketches. I like Jesus is King, there's some nice musical ideas on there but it's too half baked and rushed. I hope he's took more time on this album.

JIK was cool, but it sounded rushed and thrown together like "Ye" did. There are some standout tracks but he really shoehorned some Christian lyrics into preexisting songs. That said I went to Sunday Service and the music sounded a lot better with the choir.

Anyway, this rollout looks so much more considered than the last few I'm pretty confident the album is going to be well polished.
