Instead of speculating on what's Kanye's intentions were with sparking the discussion, I'll just address the topic. I think the overwhelming majority of us, the hip hop community understands that calling a woman bytch at it's base is inappropriate. We get that...
But when you subscribe to a culture of non political correctness, street ideology & the experiences of the black disenfranchised..... thinking the word won't get used in laughable. Males & Females alike in pimp culture use bytch in damn near every sentence. And pimp culture has a heavy hand in a lot of shyt we say in hip hop such as poppin collars & haters. shyt man you can't romanticize the struggle or the survivors while denouncing their language at the same damn time. It's all about context & perspective. In all reality with all this disrespect toward our culture hip hop is actually for intelligent people who can break this down and know what is applicable to real life & what is simply fantasy laden artistic decadence that appeals to our lower chakras. Because sometimes real talk the ignant shyt is just what the doctor ordered. The REAL issue is the lack of balance from both a mainstream perspective & what we the fans support. As an old head I remember balance in hip hop & it was a beautiful thing. But may the word bytch live on. K Dot fans didn't it make the line that much harder in Look Out For Detox when Kendrick said, "You ain't been around shyt but your momma and your bytch?" Of course. He could have kept the rhyme scheme (no/Ronnie) with "chick" but the line wouldn't have had the same impact.

Piggybacking of lupe? Maybe Lupes song provoked his thought about the subject and that's why he fukking referred to Lupe's video. Is he some type of god? Are other people not allowed to influence his thoughts?
