It's so hilarious how people who think they are so aware, attempt to get away with doing stupid shyt by calling it "art" and pretending to be so"deep" that the ordinary man or woman couldn't possibly grasp the level of genius such a display takes.

Nah that dude has lost his fukking marbles.

Any man who thinks Kim is more influential then Michele is a crazy mofo.

Just finished watching an interview with him. basically he said the flag means slavery and since we're all the new slaves, he's embracing the flag as his own.

Kanye is an artist, and as an art major myself, I get it. I've seen this kind of thing often, LA, Vancouver and SF abstract art galleries and all that, where you have a jewish woman humping a nazi flag, and random out the box ideas, nothing new. Regular in the box minds won't get it, in the art world, everything goes, you can literally do whatever the fukk you want with impunity, that's sorta the beauty of it. Seeing how far your mind can break from the norm, how out there it can get. Like a mind scream. Lot of people are afraid of appearing crazy, abnormal, weird, etc. Tbh I don't know why, it's not quite how my mind works, never had that fear, but I get it. Kinda like the matrix I guess. Would I wear the flag? Hell nah. That's dangerous, but he's a celeb, so no ones gonna do shyt.

Anyways, Kanye said he's adopting the flag as his own, and there's nothing anyone can do about it, except talk about it.......and he's right. :manny:

And not support him and he lose his fanbase and no one attends his concerts or buys his clothing and he starts failing and becoming a laughing stock and no longer gets the attention he so desperately craves. People can always do that.

@Poitier come get your boy.

Let me guess. This is genius black excellence on display.

This is so avant-garde and I'm just to dumb to understand.

The Phoneticians of 200 AD clothed themselves in their enemies logos as some sort of psychological warfare and I just don't know my history.
Is this not your southern pride flag? Don't be mad breh. This is part of the southern paradise.

I think for every fan he loses he gets 2 more. I think the masses, esp now a days (see nipsey hustle), want to break away from the norm. People that lash out at the system, do out-the-box things get the most attention, why? because its something they'd dream of doing, but are too afraid of doing. Kanye does what he wants, when he wants, and despite people calling it crazy, deep down they admire it, because it's what everyone wishes they could do. You may not agree with him, but you may admire him. Lot of people admire him. His store on Melrose, despite being a pop up shop, is selling the most this quarter.

Personally I'm not really into the confederate thing, but I get it meh.

Kanye is a hot topic right now that's why people are buying his stuff but eventually they will get over it just like they get over every other thing they think is trendy at the moment. IMO, He's not creating a whole new fanbase, he's just getting fickleminded consumers who buy based on what's popular.

Not that many people care about those who "think outside the box" at least not those with a mind of their own and not in this context. I look at Kanye and I see an attention whore, not someone I admire or who's breaking down barriers or being real and people can't handle his creativity. I see a narcissist who thinks he's blessing us with his genius and we need to start appreciating it.
