Kamau Bell c00ning like hell at the Afro-Punk festival yesterday

I was thinking about making an afropunk festival thread over the weekend. Its one of those things I take for granted living in Brooklyn. How was it? What was the racial split? Was there any spill over between the festival and the VMAs? How were the blipster women?

I'd say a good 80% of the chiks i saw were good looks. A lot of women there mighta not even been from BK. All races of hipster chiks were looking good man. A lot of variety. I only stayed till like 8pm though and was out. It was a very mixed thing. I doubt black folks were the majority. But out here thats pretty usual these days unless its a west indian event.

Man how was the rest of the festival though? I just heard about the site a few weeks ago and it seems cool.

Good vibes man. Nice festival to just chill out at. There were 3 stages, everything was pretty spread out nicely.

I went to 2 tapings, don;t really watch it frequently. But you know sometimes on big networks, black folks gotta be a little in line.
