People are still interested in what she has to say. She's not loved, but she certainly isn't hated to the point that she's Klobuchar status.

She's going to be around for a while
Ehh, to be fair, her airtime was the most ideal for the west coast, it was 7 out here (5/6 is too early to watch, people still commuting home and 8 is primtime tv) and being that she’s from Cali, that’s a huge population bump, I wouldn’t take it as anything other than that.

She will be in the race for a long time, she’s one of the 5-6 truly viable candidates, but she’s not shining the way dems probably thought she would.

Hasn’t she already convinced people in Cali one way or another?

You’re being overly intellectual.

How am I being overly intellectual...wtf does that even mean in regards to what I posted? :what:

No, she hasn’t convinced people in Cali one way or another, she clearly has name recognition, but a lot of people don’t know where she stands. supporters, those on the fence and folks who won’t vote for her would all tune in for interests sake...

she maybe the strongest centrist candidate at this point

I think she is for sure. Biden is polling better but the man has always been awful at campaigning. Buttigieg gives me the Beto vibe, spark when he starts but the lack of direction will hurt. Kamala pegs a lot of the problems but I find her proposed solutions underwhelming...that makes sense, I'm well to the left of her. What I can't say is that her policies are bad though, they are improvements. I think she'll outlast a LOT of these other candidates who either aren't about much or just aren't good at coming across sincere (Beto and Booker coming to mind). Seeing the mass push for Buttigieg is the only thing that's made me skeptical about Kamala coming out of the centrists, but I think she'll have more staying power after comparing their responses in the town halls. Her answers will age better while Pete's gonna have to give more as elections get closer imo.

yeah it was the town hall for me. buttigieg is def getting a push, the fact he actually says hes not about policy but personal story is laughable but theyre all excited cause hes gay and can speak another language, elect him, thats enough for centrists lol, i dont think it will be biden at all. hes going to fade and i dont even think the groping thing matters in that sense. he would fade anyway. part of me thinks though that even kamala isnt going to get THAT close to bernie but maybe im wrong

I read the article, the fault falls on the parent.

:manny:

So, a debilitating illness is cause for a parent to get locked up like a violent criminal? What good does it do when the parent is locked up and the source of the problem isn't addressed?

This make Truancy Laws predatory on lower income communities that are Black and Latino.
