You quoted me. So I’m gonna need you to point out the emotion in my post.

Kamala doesn’t have an agenda radical or dynamic enough to separate her from the rest of the democratic field. At this point she’s going to be judged off of her authenticity.

If every candidate is pretty much offering the same thing. Chances are people are gonna go with the ones that aren’t lying about dumb shyt and insulting their intelligence.

I know your post was broad and I don't take personal offense BUT I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not just being a contrarian.

It's about her record and the blatant pandering that is very offensive to blacks like shouting out phife dawg(when she probably couldn't pick him out of a line up), mentioning pac & snoop when they weren't out for "street creed" & shouting how she was an avid Too short fan, when the "me too" people could come out after her with some of short's old lyrics. She's just throwing things against the wall hoping it sticks.

I honestly don't see a problem with blacks in the country asking for something... You're comparing her to Trump, nobody cares. You can't scare people into suppressing votes against "big bad trump"..

I don't like him but when he told black people "what the hell do you have to lose".. That shyt was spot on. Politicians on BOTH sides but ESPECIALLY "liberals" can preach about immigration and gays all day. Trump knew all the politicians would just shuck & jive for our vote and kamala is the epitome of that but I digress....

All candidates lie about everything. That's part of the game. If she does or doesn't have much of a plan laid out, why not let that be the main focus, instead of whether or not she really listened to Tupac or not? I'm sure they'll be brining that up on the debate stage. Like you and others I thought it was goofy and disingenuous of her to lie about listening to Tupac and Snoop way back when, but to use this as reason #150 as to why nobody should vote for her, is overkill. She's a pandering goofy who has her timeline mixed up for sure. But in the grand scheme of things it's a hiccup.

In a weird way, don't you think ppls visceral reaction to this is part of the reason why they feel the need to pander? It's just rap. Now if we focus on her record as DA.....then...:yeshrug:

On the flipside if she were keeping it authentic and said she listened to Depeche Mode or some crap in college, and yet she still had a crappy plan or no plan at all, would that bode well in her favor?

People dont realize how precious the power of having political parties fighting over you is. No one gives a singular fukk about Indians, Chinese or other Asian agendas or getting their vote. There is also a limited time window because the Latino vote will gain more and more importance.

Yep. Latinos could flip Texas if they actually voted in proportion to their numbers. They're almost always 60/40 Democrat but can flake easily, so politicians are always pandering to them (in areas where they have high numbers). I think it's hard for us because the GOP actively tries to hurt us (stacking the courts with uber conservative judges at every level) and the Dems don't care enough. We almost have to hurt ourselves by letting the GOP win just to show leverage but the cost of letting the GOP win is too high and ends up screwing us over anyway.

More black candidates that can win local, state and federal offices is probably our best shot. They have to do the tap dance to get in the door and then flip the script a little bit once they get in there to help us.

Let’s be real what Kamala is trying to do is pander to us black men that are 30-50. She think by using pac and snoop and saying she smoked weed we going to forget about the other shyt
