Correct me if I am wrong but 'U Aint Fresh' came BEFORE he worked with Dre on Truth Hurts shyt right? So you might be right as far as saying he was popping off to get attention. The same record Quik did where he didn't clear the sample and neither did anyone else so she esstentially lost her entire career and Dre lost an artist that seemed to be at least an AMIL level act he could have made a little bit of coin on.

I love Quik's production style quite a bit but it never was the kind of production that would put him on Dre's level in the mainstream, really.

The lawsuit required that the album be pulled from the shelves and essentially killed her career. It also put a nail in the coffin of Rakim putting anything out on Aftermath.

Ultimately it should have been Aftermath that got the sample cleared but I think they assumed Quik did, for some reason. That or the song blew up before they really could. Not sure.

Im saying, here's the situation, dre's whats the difference n big egos dropped, nikkas in quik circle had him thinking it was about him, quik came to kam n erick, erick had nothing to do with it, but quik more than like told kam he was finna go in and convienced him.

It dropped like spider said dre pissed, then called quik, like a man and quik put it all on kam, they patch it up and quik quit fukking with kam, because he made it look like kam was the reason. you think about it how somebody gone convince you to diss somebody they gonna diss on your album, when kam known to put out his own disses he didnt need quik help.

spider knew all of this, and quik passin kam up further showed spider that quik is on some hoe shyt.

Kam never had a problem with dre, quik always been jealous of dre.

If quik can lie on kam who had nothing to gain on a dj quik album, only to get thrown under the bus when dre confronted quik about it, dre really didnt think, because kam is known to put his own disses, why involve quik, kam diss cube, was quik involved no, so why would need quik on a easy target?

only for quik to patch it up with dre, sucking his dikk, happy because dre is finally noticing him and giving him opportunities. Prolly quiks whole agenda, do some wild shyt to get dre attention and throw it on somebody else to be recognize.

Big saccs the one who was hating on quik relentlessly spoke on kams side of the dre diss on his site in one of the many dj quik hate threads, and actually had kam post and kam said he was suprised quik would flip the script and said quik shouldve called dre be4 dissing the same way dre called him, instead of listening to other people if you in doubt make that call, everybody in the industry connected, difference between broads and men.

Yeah I seen footage of Quik questioning whether or not 50 really got shot like he said he did. Talking about if he got shot in the face his whole mouth would be messed up. Later he backtracked and said 50 was 100. Quik aint no h@e though. He just matured but there are some stories of when he was on his Tree Top Piru ish. I spoke on the rivalry between Quik and Dre recently. Quik replaced Dre at Ruthless and in a way did so at DR. Alot of people assume Dre did this and that track at DR but it was really Quik. (Daz did alot too.) I'm seeing alot of people starting to say that Quik become a better engineer and producer than Dre. He just hasn't had the commercial success or acclaim. There was something that came out a while back where Quik was talking about showing Dre how to get the music off of a track leaving just the vocals, or the other way around, getting the vocals off of a track and just having the music, I can't remember. He was saying how Dre couldn't believe it and he showed him how to do it.
