I guess we'll see. I'm old enough to have seen Bama go through it. Saban WAS Bama.. no matter what these Tide fans wanna say. And I think deep down, they know it. Deboar is a damn good coach though.. so it'll be interesting to see which way this goes. I just don't think it's a good fit.

If I was Washington I would be calling Pete Carroll to see if he's interested in coaching college. 10 million a year and he doesn't move.
Those kids bought into the Saban way and felt Bama gave them prime time spotlight and the best chance at the NFL. They didn’t give a shyt about the Bama mystique that’s old heads water cooler convo.
This guy is a good hire on paper and I’m sure they’ll still be solid, but he isn’t Saban. Nick Saban types come along once in a lifetime and Bama got very lucky with the timing in getting him.
Not saying yall going back to the Mike Shula days, but that program will definitely take a step back just get ready because I know yall Bama fans aren’t used to losing much in the last 15 years or so.
