First black CEO in the company's history. Was trying to change the system from within by getting more blacks in executive positions and by making healthcare more affordable and not charging people for unnecessary shyt. Also was big on preventative healthcare instead of maintenance healthcare.

If you add all that shyt together you become an extreme threat to the system. They thought they was getting an Uncle Tom when they hired him and he pulled a Byron Allen...he had to go in their eyes

I'm born and raised in the Bay and even worked for Kaiser back in the day, but was sadly unaware of this brother and what he was up to at KP. My bad, and god bless this man, rest in power.

I got the news alert on my phone and heard he died at 60. Coincidentally. there was supposed to be a labor strike this week too that got cancelled due to his death.

My spidey senses went off but didn't know exactly why. You've provided more color to the picture. Lots of sus shyt going on with KP right now...

I'm a contractor at Kaiser... the company is beyond fukked up. The employees almost went on strike last month cuz Kaiser spent all summer tryna strip their benefits and lower they wages. The people who make the big decisions don't even be in the medical facilities. RIP to this man tho.

Working at this spot ever since i graduated HS. This company changed big time and although Tyson was doing good for the company he still had many people in places they shouldnt have been. Kaiser is beyond notorious for having people in positions of health care who shouldnt be in that position. People who come from 0 health care background are put into Managerial positions and that effects everything within that department. Half of the campus i work at managers didnt even know how to do the work the employees were doing so the strike woulda shut down the whole shyt. Smh shyt is beyond fukked up this gonna probably be a huge step back for the company
