It was the Super Bowl not the Pop Out concert, the average ticket price was already thousands of dollars, let alone add in travel and rooms so 99% of the crowd is old cacs, for him to get the reaction that he did was still amazing in itself, and the halftime performance has always been about the tv viewers anyways not the in person crowd, I was at a block party downtown with thousands of people watching it and everyone was singing along

Likely already posted…

:wow:

This beyond the two artist and more on the two crazy fanbases.

In the full clip, he actually said he loved the performance and the visuals. He wasn’t listening for the lyrics etc

I remember kai hoping for a Kendrick interview, he never got it...and props to Kendrick for not allowing him in his suite at the SB...that level of integrity is amazing. He ain't playing that buddy buddy game with streamers. Probably the only rapper with Jay, Em and Nas that don't need to.

Kai is pretty much a culture vulture in the same vein as Drake, how you go on a stream talking about Black Americans don't have culture when your whole schtick is cosplaying Black American culture, dude is corny and lame, as is with the majority of this "streamer" culture.

That's same thing with every superbowl though, usher have the old conservative crowd rocking

yea, but usher played his top 40 hits...kendrick opened with an extended snippet of a song only his fans would know...breh obviously didn't give af about "playing the hits"...

Well then he shouldn't have accepted the invite if he's just going to do a current tour set. Not many hiphop acts get these opportunities, don't squander it for all

breh just drew the most interest of any artist to their catalog post SB performance by playing a majority of songs that he owns the masters to...you have a very strange criteria for what squandering an opportunity is...
