Do kids these days even have heroes like Colin did(and everyone else who grew up in the 90's)?

Jordan was everything to me. I didn't know anything about his personal life and really did not care. It was all about the game at that time.

Yep. Alex had no one but fellow rookie Frank Gore.

McCarthy was the offensive coordinator too :leon:

That's the funny thing how that worked out.

Nolan would have ruined his psyche just like he did to Smith, than Singletary would have shyt on it even more.

I do believe Aaron still would have been the better player, but no way would he be the Aaron Rodgers of today.

in Kap's first 5 starts he shredded the bears #1 (at the time) defense, beat the saints in the superdome against the great drew brees, and beat the pats in foxboro against the great tom brady in december. young QBs just don't do what Kap is doing right now.

this kid's gonna be a star :obama:

Yeah it took some balls, and even if we don't win the SB i`m okay with it. That was hard to say a couple of weeks ago.

I actually still don't expect a SB though.

In 08 when Favre retired after we lost to NYG in NFCCG, they named Rodgers the starter and stuck with him throughout the circus. We went 6-10(not cause of Rodgers) but took steps forward after taking a step back and we ended up champions shortly thereafter. Might happen to SF if he develops and gets hot at the right time

Yeah, we ride our defense either way, but the kid has so much talent and is so mature for his age and plays the safe ball with the big play capability, it was the right move.
