thought the album was ok. worth a few listens. nothing amazing to me.

still trying to figure why he tore up his drawers honestly :yeshrug:

I loved it, thought it was incredible. Liked the beats too. Lyrically was amazing. Some great songs too, like hook wise and shyt. Is 1 of my favourite K-Rino albums. Out of interest what is your favourite K-Rino album? Is it the earlier stuff? Like Stories From The Black Book etc? Cause I know some people like that best. I thought TheRAPeutic was excellent, The Day Of The Storm I loved, quite a few actually. Deeper Elevation I really enjoyed, think that was around 4.5 mics to me if I remember currently, The Maven... I've heard some people say they like the beats better on this album. People seem to be really feeling this 1 lol. Lol might be a south thing, someone will probably come through and tell us lol.

You gotta either be K-Rino or hiding in his bushes.

with that being said, this is one of my top 3 releases of the year. Something you play for old school heads who swear rap aint shyt but young thug and lil wayne and whatever else.

That opening track, the patient could have been any number of young dudes. I legit laughed out loud, thought of lil boosie.

The concept of loyalty and support seems to be lost on this forum lol. You dudes don't seem to be able to differentiate between a fan and a stan. A lot of confused people.

Let's look at it logically, an artist comes out with an album, that you said yourself is a top 3 release of the year to you, and I support/promote his work Of an artist that is hugely highly skilled and talented and making great music and extremely slept on and underrated despite the immense quality. I support K-Rino due to genuine love for Hip Hop, if I can help him get even 1 more sale or listener that's cool with me but I've helped him get many. Also he's a cool brother, type of person like to see successful. Know or have had dealings with many artists and K has been 1 of the coolest. Least can do is support him. But honestly it's mostly not even that deep, it's just I rate him highly so I talk about him. If you look at all the threads I made the percentage that are on K-Rino is low. But the brother has an album out, which I personally think (as do many others) is absolutely exceptional so spoke about him even more since the album came out. That's just being a fan. There's HUGE amount of Jay or Nas threads, or even wack people like Drake but a over 30 year vet people wanna complain when he gets a few threads? It's merely cause of the perception he is underground, so why should we talking about him if he's not mainstream?. I don't care about any of that shyt in the slightest, it's music, so will talk about anyone who makes quality music. And regardless of what anybody say will be loyal to Hip Hop, and K-Rino is an artist who deserves to be spoken about and so does this album. So sharing others thoughts on it is hardly a crime. Not saying dude is perfect or everything he's done is classic, just being an honest fan of Hip Hop, which I do so unashamedly and will continue to do so regardless.

The single best thing about forums to me was to get put on to great Hip Hop artists. I used to be on Ill Community back in the day and people would put eachother on. With all the feminine bullshyt and nonsense that has nothing to do with the music that is being lost. At least this is about music, so fukk anybody it offends, cause that's what it should be about.

I've just never seen anyone as singlehandedly dedicated. :manny:

all of his albums sound the same to me after a couple spins. especially the last few years. thats not saying that they arent good though. i just cant bump K Rino all like that. he has way too much material and its like a mindfukk trying to keep up with all of it.

my favorite is Triple Darkness Vol 1 followed by Vol 2...then its a toss up after that...Fear No Evil/Book #7/Worst Rapper Alive

I see. See I don't think I was feeling one of the Triple Darkness one's as much as some people were, some of the beats were a bit too bland for me. I like the shyt where he's doing emotionally engaging tracks, stories, political/social content and the really ill battle tracks too. I find his albums quite different, something like Danger Zone to Deprogrammed hear quite a significant difference. I do think people are somewhat spolt cause he releases so much material so don't appreciate it adequately. I'm glad though cause get a regular fix lol, his music certainly is motivational, inspirational and uplifting to me. Great exhibition of skill and artistry which I find admirable. 1 of the few artists that consistently amazes me with their work.

Triple Darkness was my intro to him so i tend to fall on those first 2 immediately. the 3rd one sucked.

I see, I guess some people do have that connection to something they first hear. Yeah 1 of them he was doing his thing lyrically as usual but the beats though... lol.
sound like the same beats he always raps on to me :manny:

all his beats are mad trebly and thin..he rarely raps over an undeniably great beat in my opinion. that will always hold him back.

I think his production's improved, since around Solitary Confinement. Infact I don't think his beats were always bad, he had some nice shyt on Danger Zone in 95 etc but did have a period maybe around late 90's where the beats didn't seem to be always helping. And then on 1 of the Triple Darkness shyt, there's some beats I really like on some of his projects. I fukked with No Stress beat, Last Pair Of Drawz, Don't Stop. This album 1 of the things I've heard often is the production is better but I guess you don't feel the same about that.
