Thank you for this! I actually wanted to know if he had some newer albums out. One of the illest lyricists I've heard in a while.

Welcome bro :salute:

Yeah, hadn't released this year yet so some people who hadn't heard about the projects were wondering as they're used to those consistent album drops, more than made up for that extra month or 2 wait though as got 7 at the same time, really solid albums and excellent lyrically throughout, some outstanding MC and lyrical performances on a number of the joints, worth checking definitely.

listened to Enter The Iron Trap and American Heroes today...that makes it 3 out of the 7 albums that I've heard.

Enter The Iron Trap was dope. Some really good stuff on that one...I'd say i like it more than Welcome To Life just because of the overall energy of the record. Only listened once so i'll have to reply back later as songs settle in a bit more

American Heroes i did not like very much on first listen. The mixing and the beats just werent on par with the other two records at all. Out of the 12 songs I thought most of them were avg to ok and 2 to 4 were really good. Translation was a great track on that one.

Gonna slowly dig deeper into the 7...probably gonna listen to one more and then replay the ones i already listened to a few more times before i get more into it.

I really fukk with Enter The Iron Trap, strong.

American Heroes was actually the 1 I liked the least upon first listen also, ended up growing on me though, Brain Reaction thought was ill, liked the stories on With My Own Eyes also, feeling that Better beat also. Grew on me a lot, upon first listen I liked it but more listened appreciated it more, still wouldn't say it's my favourite 1 but got songs I keep going back to also, Amercian Heroes like the concept on that, also thought he MURDERED Adminstrive Leave.

Conception Of Concept excellent, Triflin was on repeat, was with people vibing to that 1, melody and scheme dope.

Wizard's Random dope too, If I Had I thought was such a touching deep song. K had mentioned similar themes about children before, 1 I remember was some of the bars on the Phony song.

Yeah there's so much, I've found in the past when he's done multiple I gravitate towards a certain album and maybe overlook another, then over time really end up disgusting it and growing in appreciation and liking of it. When TheRAPeutic came out I loved that shyt, still do, classic to me, but I ended up sleeping on Plantation Rebellion, which over time I grew to love and bump all the time, at first though TheRAPeutic just blew me away and that was an instant classic to me, still feel like that, but Plantation Rebellion is really excellent and I bump that all the time too. I think sometimes it's a challange to appreciate so much dope material, I think all these albums gonna take time to digest and process. Beyond the average work, a lot to them.

i agree. i just recently revisited Plantation Rebellion and TheRAPeutic...i def slept on those....somewhere around Annihilation of the Evil Machine and Alien Baby i started to get a little K-Rino fatigue and had to fall back for a little. Both of those albums were dope but it was like man i still havent fully digested the 3 Triple Darkness joints and the other projects he dropped after that...i'll still be catching new lines from songs he dropped 20 years ago. Natural born artist.

That's a similar issue I had, digesting multiple releases at times, even Triple Darkness first 2 I slept on somewhat initially and going back appreciated them more, 3rd 1 just a compilation really, out of the first 2 which 1 do you think is best?...

I was somewhat apprehensive about the 7 albums idea initially for that reason also, like maybe it would be better to do 1 a year and give time to digest but when it manifested I really ended up getting it, they are quite consice and its all part of a concept and a project. So rather than being an overload I found it to be grand and feel special as an undertaking. Some of the albums got like 12 songs so it plays easily, so am still left wanting more anyway rather than being fatigued and instead of having to wait a year again, have it on the other albums. So I like this, I know also he will never do this again quite like this so this is something special, I definetly view this as 1 large project rather than just 7 random albums.

It feels linked, which is good, so it's all like individual pieces of a whole.

I literally ended up listening to them ALL as soon as I bought them and it came out, didn't sleep till I listened, that's not how I thought or planned to it, I thought I'd listen to an album at a time and digest it, but I was enjoying them so much and it was like 1 part of a story I ended up listening to all. Some of the stories even run across different albums, talking of that, Wizard's Random 2 is extremely ill, The Man Who Lived Forever nice too, Firing Squad also. I liked the intro and outro's too, worked to highlight to importance and hype it.

you know its hard to pick between those 2. i def never listen to the 3rd one really. Both have such strong tracks its hard to really choose. I will say that Triple Darkness 1 is the first tape of his that i heard so i'll choose that one...but i can bump Vol. 1 & 2 straight through pretty much...only a few tracks i didnt like.
