ESPN has been on an Anti-Mariota/Pro-Jameis NFL Draft wave since he won the Heisman....maybe he falls like Rodgers did, you never know.

Then I don't think I'm with dealing away our future for one player. Like I said before, I think Hundley fits the mold too! We can draft PJ Williams or Trae Waynes with that 1st pick and if the coaches like him, try to move up in the 2nd round (if we HAVE to) and go with Hundley.Keep our first rounder this year for Mariotta

I've watched a lot of Hundley over the last 2 years....he's more in line with the Kaepernick/RGIII first read and run shyt. That's what makes Mariota so good 
He's like the perfect pure passer/running threat....damn he's so perfect for Chip.lol nikkas is really hyping up Mariota to the point where theyd consider trading a 26 year old Lesean McCoy and various picks?

And I agree that you never know and that he might fall similar to how Geno Smith did but its unlikely because WVU shyt the bed the 2nd half of his whole Junior season. Oregon however has made the playoff and Marcus won the heisman.
Johnny Manziel was once considered top 15 type talent too though but again he didnt lead a team the way Marcus did and had character issues to some teams.
Mariota is going in the top 10. I aint willing to let go of McCoy for him.

i can see Hundley dropping into the 3rd round to be frank and I'd be willing to take a flyer on him. He'd be enough to increase the pressure on Nick Foles in my opinion

But in all seriousness, running backs and receivers are a dime a dozen today. Shady is a beast but the downturn in coming...might as well get what you can get now. All 4 top seeds in the playoffs have worse running backs then us but.....they all have a wayyyyyy better QB (AZ being the outlier since Palmer out). Patriots don't even have a running back in the top 40 in rushing.St Louis, Tennessee, Bucs are the teams ahead of us in round 1 that need a QB

if u guys get mariota and i think he is legit its over imo I've been following him since he been college i can see why they do kind of compare him to arod the gawd
