You know... At first, I didn't think we needed a mobile QB for this offense to be effective. But now, for as fast as Chip runs it, you need a QB that can scramble & extend plays and sustain drives. Would I trade 1st rounders away for Mariota? I don't know about all that. Jameis in the mid to late first? Maybe. If he dropped that far. Or Hundley. Chip has to find a way to build his defense & get his franchise QB this offseason!!!

I legitimately feel sorry for him because it isnt all his fault. He probably has realize a long time ago that he isnt great enough to be a #1CB especially in the fukkin NFC east of all divisions. But Davis is throwing him to the dogs and he probably wont even get a contract when we release him because of it.

I feel you! I've taken up for Fletch & Cary. On numerous occasions! And I do think Bill Davis has been throwing those two (who are not at all gifted players) to the wolves. How do you watch them play week after week & not make a sub or give them over the top help??? I've been a fan of Bill Davis too, but I'm ready to call Rex in this bytch!

I honestly think Jordan Matthews can eventually be a number 1 or 2 in this league. Huff can go in the slot! Despite his mishaps, I still think he's going to be a stud! Proof is in that 44 yard catch and run last night and that 102 yard kick return a few weeks ago. So I don't think we have to draft another WR.

i dont disagree. but we arent in a position to find that franchise QB next year so what do you want us to do? Sign a Carson Palmer type free agent? Or stick with Foles and see what he has for one more year while we plot for the future. I personally have my eyes on Deshaun Watson but Clemson is fukking with his legs

Sticking with Foles for the remainder of his contract is not a problem but do it with the clear knowledge that he isn't the future of this team and he won't be getting some franchise QB contract next year.
My issue has always been that too many fans want to have no discussion of a new QB because they are locked into Foles as being "The Guy".
And if moving him can get them something of better value then i am all for trading him.

The worst part was Davis moving Carey Williams onto Dez with about 5 minutes left in the game...it was too little too late and just drew even more attention to the disaster that we had been watching all game.

Maybe every front office in the league will be scared of Jameis Winston's "troubles" and he will fall far enough for the Eagles to get him. That is about the only shot I see for this team as far as a QB in the draft.

I think he has too much untapped potential to ignore. He also fits what this team is trying to do offensively.

No I mean he gets hurt too easily. Dinged up. Every play you hold your breath when he on the ground.

We just need Foles to come in and play well. He knows the system he just needs to be accurate. I think people keep thinking we need somebody mobile. That would help but chips offense depends on accuracy moreso than mobility. If you aren't accurate we will go 3 and out in thirty seconds leading to a big cluster F.

I'm fan of Famous but not so much for the nfl. I don't think he's as mobile as some people seem to think and I'm not sold on him. Unless chip is willing to sell everything for Marcus I'd wait til the third round for QB and role with Foles again for 2015. If Foles slacks hopefully we can give the third rounder a shot and then go high with QB in 2016 if need be.

Take corner and backer in that order in the draft and also sign a safety and backer.

But we have a shot at 11 wins so I'm focusing on how we can win the bowl this year and I'll worry about that once we are done. Sanchez got us three wins as a backup so that's decent. We are in a conundrum because Foles is probably the superior QB but he will be rusty so we really can't throw him in there to try to win two in a row and at the same time Sanchez has fallen back to earth.

I see us taking the next two and the division as Dallas coming off a morale boosting win drops one to Indy.

We know the secondary is trash but you can only play with what you got. Knowing that billy has to drop that side stuff and just match Cary on the top wr and probably try some exotic blitzes. The only way we can protect our secondary is by limiting the time the QB has to pick them apart.
