Division rivalries are always crapshoots so if we play Dallas in the playoffs it could go either way.
NFC South (TRASH!)
NFC West (Weakened. Niners and Cards we shouldve beat...Hawks are mad vulnerable/hungover right now and might not even make the postseason.)
NFC North (Packers just got dummied by the ;scusthov: Saints who were at home but still. Lions defense is fierce but their offense is trash)
Any team can make it out the NFC for the Superbowl right now. Who ever gets hot in December will take it there.
For real though. If we run the ball and just let Foles just eat off play action it would be OK

We're the kinda team that would be 14-2, home field throughout the playoffs, best offense in the league....then lose to somebody like a 10-6 Aaron Rodgers team at home

but the refs yesterday were horrendous. They couldnt give him the spot.
Honestly though that was the worst officiating crew I have ever seen. They really impacted the game with all the bull shyt. The bull shyt was even handed but still.
Maybe it was karma. I don't remember the exact calls, but I know that when the eagles and cardinals played last year, the cardinals (and especially bruce arians) were extra salty because they thought the refs called the game in the eagles favor

And I'm right back with them every year rootingThis life of an Eagles fan aint for everbody brehthis offseason wil be important. McCoy aint getting younger. Maclin will command money. Defense needs to beef up. And Foles at the helm will probably lead us to be a treadmill playoff team.
But still
BUT EVEN STILL...FOLES IS YOUNG and only in his 2nd full season as a starter so I am not 100% ready to give up. He has one more season in my books and its curtains if he cant get it together by week 4 of the 2015 season.
Nice replacement for FitzAnother observation about this game. Assuming he stays healthy, Maclin is probably gonna command a large long term contract after this season. He's been one of the few bright spots on offense this year. Hopefully we find a way to resign him but still be able to have financial flexibility.

Maclin getting extended is a formality at this point, 4 years 35 with 3 of it guaranteed if he keeps up this pace

I'm not saying Matt Barkley is the guy. But, if Nick ISN'T, and you keep Barkley past this season, wouldn't he have earned, at the very least, a shot???A loss like this is making nikkas bug out
I for one don't know what Barkley can do! I'm not going to sit up here and act like a game and a half in his rookie year is enough to say what he is or what he can be.
