Prove us wrong and tell us what songs on Purple Rain were exceptional on the level of other classic albums........
If we are wrong okay........let us know the classic exceptional songs besides Purple Rain.....It should be no problem. There is a reason why Prince's other albums have tracks rated higher than the ones on Purple Rain.......
Maybe for once you guys can look at the main points but i realize that is asking too much

Ive listened to the album over and over again and Purple Rain is still pretty much the only one.........
Wait for someone to say "Darling Nikki" because of the Chappelle Show reference.....
Folks sometimes pretty much without realizing it just force themselves to call whole albums a classic......

Prince has 3 certifiable classics: Purple Rain, Sign of the Times and 1999. He also has 2 borderline classics: parade and Dirty Mind. Debatable classics/considered classics in some circles: The Symbol album and the Black Album.

I never said rated higher than Purple rain(the song)......you noticed I continuously said other than Purple Rain especially because it is one of my favorite songs...

purple rain is classic. the end. it's not up for question. it's not fit for debate. BECAUSE ANYONE THAT SPENDS ANY AMOUNT OF TIME WITH THE ALBUM KNOWS IT.
now... if u just dont like prince's type of music, that's one thing. completely understandable.

True or false did I not just say Purple Rain isn't on the level of most other classics released in that time period? I said Purple rain was the only exceptional song on their(You can go and check that was the word i used)

Dope production but to be bluntly honest, album gets very blah/meh for me after Tunnel Vision with the exception of Let the Groove In. Mirrors sounds like the remix to Cry Me a River but it may just be my ears. Enjoyable album nonetheless but just doesn't have that pull you in quality that FS/LS had
