This is one of his best albums :whew:

They counted that man out after “Man Of The Woods” (which IMO is overly hated. It’s mid but it has some gems on it). They tried destroying his rep after his crazy ex came out and exposed some shyt he said when he was barely in his 20’s.

Dude kept his head down and stayed in the studio for years trying to get it right which is what I respect about him as an artist. He doesn’t rush out material to try and stay relevant. He is confident in his talent and trusts himself enough to make the best quality of art.

“fukkin Up The Disco,” “No Angels,” “Technicolor,” “Drown,” “Sanctified,” and a few others are undeniable records.

He really managed to get the best sounds from “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” “Justified,” and “20/20 Experience” all into one. And it’s a more mature sound and updated.

Some of the other tracks are kinda filler but I can see them growing on me down the line the more I play it.

Timbaland and Danja laced him right (again). I’m kinda surprised there was no Neptunes beats on here.

But I feel the last time he had Pharrell on his album we got “Man Of The Woods.”

But other then that, this album is amazing.

That white boy done did it again :wow:

So Man of The Woods was trash despite Neptunes and Timbaland beats, and this current album is way better with Danja and Timbaland beats ?

The problem with “Man Of The Woods” is that JT was trying to dip his toes into R&B and country sounds and he couldn’t find a good balance. Even though it had some good tracks on there, it struggled to have an identity.

It wasn’t really “bad.” Just very mid for JT’s standards.

And the fact that Timberlake takes his sweet time to drop music. The narrative just starting growing that the album was trash and people just ran with it. He didn’t help his case when he was dancing off beat during Pharrell’s music festival and the whole Britney Spears shyt. Folks just made up the narrative that he is a culture vulture and that he is an a$$hole.

And folks used that album as an example of him being “exposed” for who he truely is :smh:

Hopefully this album changes that narrative..

This is cool. Man Of The Woods is underrated (for example Midnight Summer Jam!), but I'm enjoying this too.

Timbaland and Danja did a dope job on on the production and some of the songs have classic Timberlake choruses. The funky disco type songs work well too - Infinity Sex is really catchy.

Not sure if all of these songs will stick, and it misses the experimentation some of his previous albums had, but its solid for people that already like JT.
