i dont know any details on the first dui, but if its 2 grossly "aggravated" dui's, where you are obliterated and behind the wheel, then jail time is a real possibility

lol @ someone in here saying "it's easy to get a DUI"...smh that's the type of mentality that makes this nonsense acceptable

I drink just like everybody else and I've never gotten a DUI...I make sure I got someone to drive or take a cab if I'm planning on going in...it's not that hard...it's not an inconvenience...it's just retarded if you don't...he's putting people in danger and there's some people trying to run and defend this guy like he's your hero or your father...smh

Exactly.

It's infinitely easier to NOT get a DUI. Especially when you're a professional athlete

He made a mistake for a second time. Punish him to the furthest extent of the law, suspend him for however many games Goodell decides and make sure he gets evaluated for possible alcohol addiction. All this moral grandstanding in this thread is some unnecessary bullshyt. nikkas go way too far with the finger pointing. "Character issues" definitely makes my top 5 least favorite sports cliches. Everyone has character issues.

Characters issues matter when a franchise is making an investment, i.e., a player you draft or sign in free agency.

Under Oklahoma law, a driver's blood alcohol level must be .15 or higher to be charged with aggravated DUI.

Dude was tanked

.15 is 7 or 8 drinks not that insane
except the fact that it was 10am.....wtf
if hes got one DUI already he had to go through atleast a 30hr rehab class, which would never make you want to drink and drive again

The possibility that Blackmon might have problems with alcohol is important. He also obviously needs to work on his decision making. The first sentence of my last post said what needs to happen to dude in a completely objective manner. A franchise has to pay attention to anything that will prevent a player from being on the field and playing at his full potential. But I will never take seriously a bunch of dudes flooding messageboards to finger point.

Nobody gives a shyt what these guys do as long as they perform at the end of the day. Kobe and Roethlisberger can rape bytches left and right but be good, aside from a few jokes, as long as they're balling. Ray Lewis might have killed a nikka, but damn that nikka is inspirational with those speeches. Donte Stallworth killed a dude drunk driving. Nobody said a peep when dude was playing last season. Character only matters if you're garbage.

I have been thinking about this and how in the world do you have a .24 at 10am? That means if he stopped drinking at lets say 5am, he was at like a .4 at that point. Unless he kept drinking through the night until the morning?
