You know the other day I was in my friends clothing store. Some kids were there, maybe 13 or 14. We start talking about music and somehow we got to talking about method man and wu tang. The kids were like :dwillhuh: "Who's that?". I was like "y'all never heard of wu?". They was like nah. Oddly enough I wasn't shocked. You don't just pop out your moms p*ssy knowing the history of hip hop. I recommended a few of their albums and kept it moving.

Most likely, but I get it in a way. Wu came out like 20 years ago. In 1993 I was like 12 or 13. If someone came to me in 1993 and was like "you never heard of the spinners? They was the dopest thing in 1973" I would probably listen to the album like :scusthov: and keep it moving. It's a different era I guess :manny:

I disagree totally, although I get where you are coming from. Dope shyt is TIMELESS. I fukks with all type of 50's The Dells, Martha Reeves And The Vandellas type shyt over a lot of this clown ass foolishness these dudes is dropping now. Been like that even as a young cat, fukking with Early LL Cool J, Kool G Rap, Rakim and early hip hop acts.
